Stacy Morrison is an avid hiker and lifelong gardener, based in New York's Hudson Valley. Professionally, Morrison is a consultant, writer, editor and marketing and brand strategist. She was an award-winning magazine editor for 20 years, as editor in chief of Redbook, Modern Bride, and the design magazine ONE, and she made frequent appearances on the TODAY show to share expertise on relationships, personal finance and the state of being a woman in America. After her publishing career, she worked in social media as part of the team at the BlogHer network, which reached more than 100 million people via its network of blogs. She is also author of the book Falling Apart in One Piece, a memoir about coming to terms with the fragility of life.
