Jennifer Owens is an editor, writer and producer focused on women, wellness and work. She previously served as Director of Editorial + Digital Content for Firstly, a fintech startup serving the Sandwich Generation and founded Jennwork, a content strategy firm that works with mission-driven clients. She created and hosts The Breadwinners podcast and co-founded thePause, a weekly newsletter focused on midlife women’s health. 

Jennifer served as SVP of Digital Strategy of HealthyWomen.org and launched Spring.St, the place for smart women. She also served as editorial director of Working Mother Media and founded the Working Mother Research Institute, home to the Working Mother 100 Best Companies. In 2013, she launched National Flex Day, an annual spotlight on the benefits of flexible and remote work policies for all employees. She was named a Phenomenal Woman in 2020 and is proud to be considered a Grown-Ass Lady and a Fairygodboss.
